A documentary of the two-day Iitate Village follow-up dialogue seminar on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 July 2016.

 

After the Fukushima Accident, whole Iitate Village in Fukushima was designated an evacuation zone. Some villagers are now preparing to return to their village ahead of lifting the evacuation order scheduled for March 2017. What did they lose by the accident and evacuation, what do they hope to regain, and what kind of future will they try to create?

 

We will look, listen, talk, and think about the present in Iitate Village, and consider the future together.
